Some perks of putting a bird bath out there in this scorching heat. It’s 44 degrees here in Delhi right now. And I see quite a lot of them flying in to quench their thirst. At first it seemed like a mass suicidal attempt. On second thoughts it looked like a commando training camp. After a well-deserved knock on my head, the rusting brain realized that they were drinking water.
Reblogged this on Dew Drops.
Beautiful imagery. Ringing in freshness in the life of bees that we are in the morning to conquer the day:)
Thank you, Vishal! π
Pic too is crazy good. Sadly, it is so hot these days. we feel pity for the birds and ignore these little insects π¦
True. Little efforts can mean a lot to these little friends of ours.
Awh!

Heh heh! Great imagination! And, it’s such a beautiful deed! Even I’ve kept a small birdbath in my little garden. No bees though, thankfully! Sort of scared of those commandos! π
I am now used to all kinds of species. We are anyway a junglee family doing the rounds of wildlife sanctuaries all the time. π
Same here. Considering that I really live near a jungle and river, my kids bring all kind of creatures in my home. We have had a bat, squirrel, mongoose, pigeons which are hurt.
As I’m already burnt of heartbreak, I don’t allow them to pet those mute beauties. We are a lodge for them. They pay for the room service by little bits of happiness. π
Good angels. If you are using DSLR then try to use manual focus. You will be amazed with more sharp images!
Point and Shoot only. And I’m currently using Auto focus only. Will play around with manual settings.
Okay..
Lovely! Reminded me of our visit to a bee yard on one of our road trips. T’was fascinating π
